Spyder Grand Tour 2013

Fred Rau

My wife and I have been campaigning the Spyder RT around the country since October of 2009, when we were aboard one of the first RT prototypes (serial no. 0003). Each summer since then, we have taken a new model RT on a cross-country tour, visiting dealerships, Spyder owner groups, and various rallies and other events.

Daytona Ride 2013

Fred Rau

On March 7th I will launch on my annual cross-country trek from California to Florida and back, to attend Daytona Bike Week. This will be, I believe, the 17th time I have made this ride in the past 22 years, on a combination of 15 different makes and models of bikes. Last year was the first time I ever repeated on the same kind of machine, the Can-Am Spyder.

A Community of Riders

Faran Hearyman

In the past, I’ve promoted finding a community of riders with whom you can share your love of the open road. That’s simply because my own riding experience has been enriched by the people I met during my first year as a “newbie” on my Can-Am® Spyder® RS-S.

Lamonster's first ride on the Spyder ST

Lamont Bryden

As many of you know, I had the chance to ride the first ST prototype just over a year ago, and I was very pleased at what I saw in this new model of Spyder. It filled a gap between the Spyder® RS and the Spyder® RT. Even so, my ride was enough to get me excited, but it was not what I would call a “real world” test.

The Birthday Ride

Mickey Fisher

My friend Brian Hoffman was on the West Coast last week, celebrating his birthday and catching up with old friends. I say "friend" but he's close enough to be a brother. We haven't seen each other in quite some time, so when I heard he was coming to California I was thrilled. We decided to meet up and he had one interesting request, he wanted to ride the Spyder.
